AWD Editore is glad to present its latest work, called “Il cielo su Venezia”. Why a book on Venice from above? Because Venice is too beautiful to be admired only from a bridge, from a gondola, from a square or from one of its islands. It is an unforgettable, but partial sensation.

Therefore we thought to observe it and disclose its secrets from the sky, using a camera and different aircrafts.

The result is a unique photographic work that has become a book about the Venetian skies and the Venetian lagoon, seen from jets, airplanes, helicopters and skydivers interlaced above the channels and the islands of the city.

The book has been realized and published by AWD, once again together with the most famous aeronautical photographer in the world: g iampaolo a gostinelli.

This book is unique and special, because Venice has been caught and immortalized from above, thanks to incredibly fascinating pictures, in a sole harmony of magnificent aircrafts, colours and contrasts creating absolutely new atmospheres.
