Stefano Fogagnolo
Born on January 15, 1974, he has been living in Castellanza (Varese). A
sports photographer since the age of 18, after High School of Art, he
attended several computer graphics courses.
Then he ran through all the
technical aspects of graphics in a major industry in Milan, and at the age
of 23 he started his own enterprise, opening a publicity office and
specializing in image processing, development of advertising materials and
campaigns, fair stands, organization of graphic archives, and study and
development of gadgets and exposers for several International industries.
In 1999, with Daniele Poltronieri, he gave origin to Atelier Web Design. In
few months, the web sites for Pininfarina, Shimano, Cagiva and Husqvarna,
and interactive CD-ROMs and fair stands for MV Agusta were developed.
In 2000 he met the world-renown Aviation photographer Giampaolo Agostinelli,
giving birth to the new publishing project in collaboration with Aviation
writer and journalist Andrea Artoni.
The first outcome was "Vipers in The
Sky" on the famous Lockheed Martin F-16 FIghting Falcon combat aircraft in
service with the US Air National Guard.
In December, 2001, he acquired full control of AWD and moved it to a new
site in Legnano, where all the production structure was reorganized in the
graphics, web, publishing and digtal photography departments.
A second book, "Where Sea Meets The Sky" was published in 2002 both in
Italian and English versions; the latter in collaboration with TomCat
Publishing Ltd of England.
In the meantime, many other works are in progress.
